During the Easter holiday, 20 of us set off on a one-week exchange to Shanghai, engaging in cultural exchange with the students from High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University and Minhang No. 3 Middle School Attached to Shanghai Normal University.
On our first day back at school, We had drama lesson in Minhang No. 3 Middle School Attached to Shanghai Normal University. We came to the 'stage' one by one, and stayed in a position, but it also should not be weird in the stage. At last, we form a scene together.
The second day, we had physics lesson in High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University, and it left a deep impression on us. We built rocket and use small bomb to launch it. Unfortunately, after we had launched first rocket, it rained. Therefore, other rocket cannot launched, they are taken back as souvenier.
This is the most exciting activities we looking for, visit Shanghai Disneyland! Teachers and student all enjoyed whole day spent there. Luckily, the weather was great at that day, so we do not need to worry about getting wet during playing amusement rides.
On our fifth day in Shanghai, we immersed ourselves in the traditional Chinese art of carving, an intangible cultural heritage. We experienced Intangible cultural heritage wood planning. Teacher had already prepared the materials for the planning, so we just need to cut the image out and glued it on the paper. However, the image is difficult to cut out. The final outlook is very beautiful and we are proud of ourselves for finishing the whole artwork.
We want to mention a course in particular, we did relief flowers in Minhang No.3 Middle School Attached to Shanghai Normal University. We need to prepare for the mold for plaster, which need to 'print' the flower to the mold. Then, pour the plaster in the mold and wait it became hard. At last, we took the plaster out, and wash it and polish it. All of our works are unique and brilliant.
In this fruitful learning experience in Shanghai, we have went to many amazing and diverse spots and participate in amusing activities. During these learning experiences, we have felt Shanghai fascinating culture and it was a trip full of laughter and joy. These unforgettable memories will be cherish for years to come. We will forever cherish this miraculous experience.
We very much look forward to the return visit of our Shanghai friends in May and continue this wonderful chapter of friendship!
