Exploring the Legal Profession: GBA Study Tour

6-7 July 2024

From 6 to 7 July, four of our students joined the GBA Study Tour in Shenzhen organised by the Law Society of Hong Kong. The tour aimed to raise awareness and interest among the younger generation about the legal landscape and career opportunities in the GBA.

Along with other outstanding students throughout Hong Kong and Shenzhen, the girls visited arbitration centres, the People’s Court, and different entrepreneurial bases, and engaged in conversations with lawyers from the Law Society. One of the trip highlights was the Presentation Competition, in which students collaborated to give a presentation on a topic related to the legal systems in the GBA. Two of our students, Gigi Chung from (2A) and Natalie Ng from (3C) were awarded the first runner-up for their exceptional performance.

Throughout the tour, schoolmates not only have accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the legal systems in the GBA, but also built life-long friendships and connections with their group mates. These invaluable experiences gained throughout the tour will serve the students well long after the program has concluded.
